So I decided it needed to be the turn of green this week, and I couldn’t resist an outing of Models Own Emerald City, and boy was I not disappointed. I used 1 base coat of H&M Envy me, to reduce the chance of bald spots, then it was 2 coats of Emerald City. The fumes were quite crazy I tell you!
The effect was well worth it – it’s simply stunning.
This is the only Models Own that I own. I was going to get the rest of their glitters during the 50% sale, but I was on a no-buy, so it didn’t happen. This beaut came from a blog sale

I seem to have a lot of grey in my wardrobe… Bit of a dark picture – but you get the idea. Snuggly winter clothes ftw.
Nail polish of today is What’s your Name by sinful Colors covered with a crappy gradient of my incredibly thick mad as a hatter (must buy thinner), taking my inspiration from Feli’s recent posts.
I’m feeling slightly Dr Evil with that title, haha! Well I decided to go on a layering mission after getting all sad that my Nfu.Oh’s are missing somewhere (so tempted to make a NL order to cheer myself up in the meantime). And of course I had to use Isadora crackle, and being a geologist by profession I *had* to think this one up! It’s a bit more orangey in person – but I’m lazy (see the no swedish, this is how lazy I am) so I didn’t fix the colour in tattyslop.
I adore the sillyness of the crackle polishes, so expect a fair bit of silly layering from me.
I give you MAGMA!

I had some luck really the day before yesterday – I went to my local shopping centre and first off I spotted the pink Graffiti in the random nail olish box in H&M – so of course I didn’t waste a second in loading up with them Then in åhlens I saw the rest of the display (not actually put out, but shush) so managed to get the rest. The only one of the collection I don’t have is the yellow (white is in my PHD challenge piece so you’ll see that on sunday ) Anyways here are the pink and the black for you to look at.
Jag hade tur i för igår - först jag hittade den rosa i H&M, sedan den andra i Åhelns (inte precis ute, men men!) Jag bara missa gula men jag tycker inte så mycket om den. Vit är i PHD challenge, så här finns rosa och vitt, varsågod ;)
The first thing I need to note here is see my ring finger? Should have had more base coat, because it’s peeking through *hello nail!* These were applied over fresh polish that while had been dried 5min or so was still kinda wet. I *think* this makes the crackle chunkier (check with the last pictures – the polish there was a day old), but if the base isn’t dry enough then it drags the base with it.

Hoppas du kan förstå på engelska vad jag menar, men det faktiskt går bra att vänta lite mellan först lager och graffiti. ;)

Black! No draggy problem here – see ring and little finger- muuch drier polish.

I’m up at 5am this morning, thanks to a bloody wasp crawling up my leg (I’m allergic so it got me out of sleepy land and into awake mode in about 2 seconds… boo!), so I thought I’d bring you one of my latest haul and what I’m wearing today – black like my mood at being woken up so early!
Jag vaknade kl. 5 eftersom det var ett getning på mitt ben (Jag är allergiskt så jag vacknade direckt om 2 sekunder.. ugh), Jag tänkte att skriva lite nu i alla fall….
This is one of my haul from the lovely Nicole of Magic Maid awesomeness (if you don’t already follow her, then seriously do so, she’s ahmazing). What’s your name by Sinful colors. This is going to be one of my winter favourites for sure – I love the glitter as it’s rather sneaky – you *think* it’s a black, then you catch a glimmer of colour. The polish took 3 coats to even opacity – but that’s possibly partially my fault – I was on a little bit of a sugar rush shakes time! The glitter is quite discrete compared to how it sits on the side of the bottle, but rather than be disappointed by that – I’ll be happy that I have a black in my collection now, that is not only black – but has a kick to it!
En annan lack från Nicole – Magic Maid (Du absolute måste kolla på hennes websidan om du inte har redan – hon är jätte-awesome). Lack heter ‘Whats your name’ från Sinful Colors. Jag tycker det ska komma att bli en av min (mitt?) favourit vinter nägellacks – Jag älskar att glitter är inte så stark i läcken – du tror det bara är svärt men det finns blåa glitter…. sneaky! Lack tog tre lager innan opacitet, men det kanske är mitt fel – jag åtit lite för mycket gödis… Nu är jag glad att jag har en fin svärt i mitt kollektion. Yey!

Today I braved the outside world and sunlight to test a test (hehe) in swedish. Not really sure how it went, but I had to I look like the lovely wierdo I am while travelling to and from it, and that my dear friends is clearly the most important part!
