Not really the most flattering picture ever, but hey ho!

Top from Gina Tricot
Cardigan from Twinkie Chan (Can be found here when she posts) She also now has a line called Yummy You with her famous Cupcake scarves and so much more!
Jeggings from Lindex
I will be trying to update this a little more frequently with these kind of Outit posts in the future, as it makes me think a little more about what I’m wearing and what works or doesn’t!
*I don’t usually blog about give-aways – but Tuli has a lovely give-away going on right now for perfume in celebration of her being in a top 50 nail bloggers post
Congratulations Tuli! Be sure to check it out, and maybe be a lucky pup!
So from yesterdays Petite Polish I then decided to play french manicure, but with a crackle twist. This was my apocalypse nature manicure for the PHD weekly challenge and I really like it.
Från igår’s lack tog jag min Isadora grafitti – apocalypse french haha!

This was my attempts at layering for a bark-like effect. I want to try this again at some point, but with matte top coat. Personally I think I was trying to add too much

And the actual entries.

I got this last week in a sale, it’s a brand called Lumene and the colour is called night party, a brown shimmer with flakies. Initially the bottle made me so excited that I simply had to have it (I mean FLAKIESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!111!!!!oneoneone), but the initial application when I got home made me all sad. The brown was too pigmented (and not jelly enough) to show through the awesome sparklies. Dispondant at it being a bit rubbish, I put it away and growled a little.
Having only a quite small collection, and fancying a change I dragged it out today to swatch, and I must say I’m actually liking it. Though by gum it’s a hard colour to photograph (perhaps even more so when it’s raining!)
This is three coats, though it could take two I think. The flakies are diffused throughout the nail, although the shimmer tends to catch the light more in a lot of cases.

Just look at the bottle, is it hard to see why I got excited?

Though on the nail with a few layers it does look kinda nice…

There are flakies scattered through out, though the camera tends to only catch them away from the main light source.

Overall I can see myself wearing this a lot in the autumn, and perhaps with another layer of flakies on top, haha!
Today was the day to do something with the second of the two t-shirts I’d been surgerying. (will add link to old one here).
I wanted to make a skirt, but unfortunately there wasnt enough material, then it was going to be a dress- but as you can see, not the most in the way of material!
I love working with t-shirt material, and this was no exception. It did take a bit of fighting to work out how to do it, and it could have
been a wee bit more flattering, but overall it seems like a pretty rrasonable job. I cut the back to show
mr sea chicken tattoo and also to destroy a logo (it’s a bootleg tee and I don’t really like logos anyhow, even if the pattern on the front is maybe a logo.) The picture doesn’t show it so well, but there is a ruffle on the bottom of the top in brown to match the ties on the straps.
Anyways onto the pictures
