Ya know, it’s a pretty good thing I have a few photo’s already in my draft folder, because otherwise I’d be having a nightmare right now trying to get stuff posted!  I’m going to try get the PHD challenge done by tomorrow, but I do have a backup plan already sorted just in case.  I’m just pretty busy, after a surprise offer of some data entry work – I’ve *hopefully* got about 8 full days of work ahead of me provided I rock their socks, so if I do get a little sporadic around here- that’s why.

Det är bra att kag här 5-6 draft redan, eftersom jag är lite kaotiskt precis nu.  Hoppas att göra mitt PHD Challenge imorgon, men jag har ett plan till i alla fall. Jag är ganska upptagen – jag hoppas att har ungefär 8 dager arbeta, men jag måste jobba bra :D Så om jag blogga lite mindre, du vet varför!

This is a look from the weekend, and I hate to admit I’m not 100% on the colours I used in it anymore!  I *think* it’s all Fyrinnae, there’s certainly some Arcane magic in there ;) Anyways I was feeling peacock inspired!

Den har är från föra helgen, och jag hatar att säga – jag är helt osäkert vilka produkter jag hade uhmm användande?! arghhh hatar verbs… Jag tror det är helt Fyrinnae, jag vet det finns Arcane Magic i den.  Jag tänkte på påfågel ;)

Carrying on with the awesome things that I got sent the other day.  This is Happy Birthday which I expected to be pinky but actually looked all coppery when I added some Pixie Epoxy under it.  Not that I’m complaining though – I think it went really nicely with Aztec Gold.

Quite a simple look really, and I’d quite like to use the Happy Birthday dry as well since I think that it could work as a gentler shade as well.

YEY mail!  I have a little review of  a soap/lipbalm/stuff shop on Etsy coming up, but today I got this awesome set of shiny things from a certain wonderful girl – Alzarine Claws She helped me out with a couple of the H&M holo polishes I’d missed out on and then suprised me with a couple of mineral eyeshadows :o I was quite shocked by the loveliness!

So of course I had to take one for a test run – this is Silver Spoon (if I remember correctly), Sugarpill- Tiara, a little Fyrinnae pixie epoxy and 1.22 gigawatt, and Aromaleigh Infernal Chaos.

Because pulling faces is the most fun ever!

You may notice slightly more tamed eyebrows. Thank you to future sister in law for that one!

Been playing with makeup again, this time a mix of Aromaleigh and Fyrinnae.  The weather outside is rubbish today, so pictures are relatively fail.  Nothing overly exciting to note – haha!  Well other than my sadness that Aromaleigh will no longer ship Internationally.

I know they are closing and everything – but I was looking forwards to payday and ordering a little more (Backstory here is that I wanted to order quite a lot next year for wedding makeup).  While I understand that it’s not really the shops fault to have lost money due to mean ass customers and be forced to do this – there’s something about it that makes me a little sad/annoyed at them.  I’m going to put that down to me being me, and order me some Evil Shades and Fyrinnae shortly :D  (Also I was offered an American Address from a lovely girl on twitter… all together now… awwwww!)

Anyways, onto yet another blue look!

I used:-

Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy, 1.22 Gigawatts (can’t really see, it’s blended in with the aromaleigh)

Aromaleigh – Sapphire and Jade

I’m really liking having shadow under my eyes for some reason at the moment. Perhaps because it ends up there regardless!  No full face action as I have a really angry spot on my nose that I’ve been attacking in my sleep. Nice!

Is there any look you’d like me to try?  Challenge my lack of ability!

The calm before the glitter boi storm EoTD

So, success on the nail front – they dried overnight!  Yey! Now time to take it off to do polish horder disorders weekly challenge okay, maybe not today (I need a grey polish first). But tomorow for sure – before I forget.

It may not have been perfect, but I loves the rainbows.

So on to today, more playing with blue eyeshadow, more fail! Well more realisation that it was one step forward, break for a few months, fall in a pile – this is not what I intended, certainly not when I want to do my own makeup next wedding day!

So here is todays attempt brought to you with:-

  • Fyrinnae – Glitter Boi as a kind of eyeliner
  • Lower eyeline is Benefit – Bad Gal
  • Mascara is just a waterproof bodyshop affair
  • Aromaleigh in Sapphire, Skeleton Key, and Infernal Chaos.

So what do you think? I need to get more even that’s for sure.  I think Sapphire is too bright for a wedding colour though sadly, even though I am going to geek it up in glasses…

Bluey EoTD – aka I don’t want to take yesterdays varnish off….

I was going to show off Cherry Pie by China Glaze today, but I like yesterdays mani so much that it’s staying for now! So instead you get me attempting make-up after slacking for a few months!

A few weeks ago now I got a package from Aromaleigh – I’d wanted to place this order for ages, but had put it off till closer to the wedding – of course they are closing (Here’s the website and you can use ADIEU35 for a 35% discount) so I got my ass in gear.

Sapphire, Jade, Mania’s Locus, Poison Eutopia.

Swatched over the eye and lip primer.

I was a little sad that they had sold out of one of the shadow I ordered – Infernal Chaos (and I really really wanted it :( ), but well it happens I guess.  I also have an order of  some of the new eyeshadows, but stupidly sent that one to England.

Anyways I played around this afternoon and came up with this eye – I used something though that I thought was lighter than it actually was – this was supposed to be a blue look dammit!

Used – Sapphire, Mania’s Locus and sample of Cyanide Sorrow, over the eye and lip primer.  I mean to use infernal chaos as the highlight, opps!

Anyways what do you think?  And please excuse the eyebrows, they hate being tamed!

I decided to get it – though they didn’t have the blue striped one I tried, so the one I’ve got is lilac striped – I *think* it looks rather prettyful, and I will of course get better pictures – but since we have relatives over from far far away this afternoon I figured maybe I’ll be home late this evening and so should show you the piccys now!

I also used the Eyeko Posh Polish. Again iphone shot till later, but I will get a decent picture too.

This one has a much better consistency than the Lilac and the French (I *think* this is a newer formula?), and so I had way less issues with application.  I’m also getting better at not dipping the whole brush in the polish and then getting the dripping down the brush ‘handle’ as I’m applying.  The taupe colour looks ever so refined on me, haha!

Yes, back in Sweden and back on the Sugarpill for some pink action today – nothing really big or anything.  I was going to take an OoTD but I’m feeling rather bloated and nothing looks right imo.  Also starting to stress as have exams all next week :(

Tobermory EoTD

I’m driving home (well to England at least) today, so should be able to get some nicer camera updates tomorow/Monday, though I have a few family members to visit. :)

This is my EoTD from the trip across to Tobermory, if I had my whole make up collection here I might have gone with co-ordinating with the scenary – just check this out (picture from my mum’s camera on monday)

This was actually an Eye of the Evening after managing to get tears foolishly spilt all down my face!  I used Aromaleigh eyeshadows from the Victoria’s Revenge collection I keep harping on about this time it’s the turn of Splintered and Mayhems Trilogy.
